Tyler Preston has been slinging his stormy cocktail of vintage blues, rock and R&B in the watering holes of southeast Alaska since his 2008 debut at the Haines State Fair. He is well known in his hometown of Juneau, Alaska for his emotive baritone voice and simple, inspired guitar work that draws its fundamental elements from Delta and Chicago blues, exploring them in the context of rock and R&B influences from the 60s and 70s.
Tyler maintains a show schedule of 12-15 shows a year in his region. He also regularly hosts the Alaskan Bar's weekly Thursday Night Open Mic.
The young bandleader plans to relocate to Madison, Wisconsin at the end of summer 2012 to pursue more performance opportunities and to produce his debut album.
